OH DEAR BRIDGE
Today was the last day with 3DD. We started out making some samples on bridges in our sketchbooks, I made 3 different bridges, and I am happy with the result. My plan was to keep it simple and elegant, and I think that I succeed. After the first task, we were asked to build a bridge in groups of 6-7 persons. The only materials we got to make it with were cardboard, brown tape and bamboo. In my group we decided to make a bridge that didn't support the ground.
We worked very well together and we were happy with the result. When we had build the bridge, a remote controlled car should pass the bridge. We all thought that our bridge were stable enough to survive but unfortunately our bridge were the only one which collapsed. If we have had let the bridge support on the floor, our bridge may have survived. Although our teamwork was great and we made a very simple and elegant bridge, but of course it would have been better if our bridge survived the test.
It has been a great week with a lot of challenges. I found this week very inspiring and I think that I can use my experience from this week, when I start my pathway in fashion and textiles.
