3DD - DAY 2

SPAGHETTI ON MY MIND
We began with drawing some sketches for the upcoming project. We were asked to make something three-dimensioal out of spaghetti, and besides that we only had the glue gun to make it with. We made first the sketches, where we worked on the design and it's shape, and then we just started to work with the materials. It was quite difficult in the beginning, because the spaghetti was very hard to deal with, it broke very quickly, so you had to be careful with your movements. After all I managed to make a little three-dimensional sculpture.
When we had managed to make one, we were asked to place 3 balls in or on our product. It was actually not difficult at all! In the end, we had to make our product stable, in order to survive our tutors test. I put a lot of paper into my thing, because it was quite difficult to cover it, as it do not have a specific form. To see how stable our products were, our tutors threw a basketball down on it.  Generally all the products got broken, there were only a few which did not get too damaged.

I could have made my product a bit more stable, by changing the form. If my product were more robust, I could have made a shield around it, because then it would had taken the worst of the weight and strength from the basketball.
