I am finally done with the research part of the project. I have been looking in different books in the library at my school and have found some very inspiring minimalist pieces. I started out looking at minimalistic architecture, which I am very impressed by as I find its simplicity beautiful and tasteful. I found a few houses that I thought would be useful for my project, and after that I started looking into minimalist interior design which is incredible. I am so jealous of people living in homes with a minimalistic style, I would die for it!  I find myself really craving contemporary furniture, accessories and ornaments. It is especially the Danish brand "HAY" and the Italian brand "Kartell" that caught my attention. My favorite furniture designer is the French designer Philippe Stark. His work is amazing and I find it very inspiring. Finally I have been looking at minimalist art and photography. 

It has been a very productive week and I have now done all my research. I am very satisfied with the diversity of research I have undertaken and I feel that I have found pieces that will be useful for my project. It has also been interesting learning about different aspects of minimalism, and I have definitely broadened my knowledge.
