MOODBOARD

This is the moodboard for my FMP.  I have chosen to work with the theme Minimalism and therefore I am looking at minimalistic art, architecture, furniture, interior and finally fashion. I think it is important to have a very broad knowledge of all aspects of minimalism, so it's essential not only to look at minimalistic fashion through the years, but also to have an awareness of minimalist art, architecture, furniture and interiors.

The pictures that are represented in my moodboard are mainly from different books and exhibitions. I went to the exhibition "Sensing Spaces" at The Royal Academy of Arts, which I found very inspiring because I am interested in different spaces and styles in architecture.  Luckily there were a few examples of minimalist architecture represented in the exhibition, so I have used that in my research.  I also went the White Cube Gallery where there were a few exhibitions on.  It was very inspiring and they had a broad selection of minimalistic photography, which I have used in my research as well.

I think my project is going well at the moment. I am doing the things I have planned: I have managed to get to 2 exhibitions and I have done a lot of research, so I am very satisfied with my progress so far.
