EVALUATING EXPLORATORY STAGE

WHAT TO SAY
The exploratory stage has been very inspiring but tough as well, but I have really enjoyed every part of it.  For my part, I think it was a bit hard in the start. I just moved to London a few days before I started the course, so I had to get used to my new environment and surroundings.
The school system in UK is totally diffrent than the Danish school system, so there were a lot of new things I had to deal with in the beginning. We have tried out many different subjects within Art. We got to know the basic things within lens based media, fashion and textiles, 3DD and graphics.

I especially enjoyed the fashion and textiles week, and I have also chosen fashion as my pathway. It caught my attention and I realized that I really want to be a part of the Fashion industry! I think that all the assignments we did during the week was good and very instructive. Besides fashion I also liked 3DD and graphics. I really liked the mix of the group work and the self-contained work during the whole 3DD week. Although I didn't like the week with lens based media. Firstly, I don't think that it was very organized. Secondly, I don't think that the assignments were exciting, and finally I don't think we got any knowledge about how it is to work within the industry.

Generally, I have had a good time, and I have learned a lot during the stage. I am very glad that I choose the Design and Media course, because I know that I can bring my new knowledge into my future projects and career. I am looking forward to begin on the fashion and textiles pathway - cannot wait!  I think that we are going to make some very interesting projects, and I am sure that I will improve my knowledge within fashion.
