ELLEN GALLAGHER
Ellen Gallagher's exhibition A x ME was marvellous! I liked it all! Her style is very interesting and so inspiring. I like her afro-uban style that dominates in most of her paintings. She uses a broad of elements in her paintings. She mixes Sci-Fi items with vintage photos. All the black images in her paintings are taken from black lifestyle magazines in the 1940s to 1970s, such as Ebony and Black Stars. Lovely exhibition, you saved my day Gallagher! Keep up the good work!
