LENS BASED MEDIA - STORYBOARD

My final result of the project in this week. My story is about a girl walking on the street. Suddenly a thief comes by and steals the girl's bag. She tries to run after him, but he is to fast. He disappears into a huge group of people, and therefore it's quite difficult for the girl to catch the thief. She is just about to have break out, but the bag means everything to hear and all her lovely belongings is in the bag. She struggles through the swarm of people and luckily she finds the thief laying on floor with her bag. She runs as fast as she can over to the thief and grabs the bag and gets away. 

What could I have done better? 

First of all, I could have made a real movie with music, voices and generally sound effects, instead of the 6 still-mode pictures. I could have changed the location and added a bit more people, to make the scene where the girl struggles throw the people even better. I could have done it more dramatic and made some bigger tasks than the ones I made. Instead of using the composition as I have, I should have focused on some close-ups instead, so you could see the character's face expression and I would have made it more emotional and more real in that way.

I made my still-mode pictures in black/white to make it more dramatic. Therefore I made the contract more dark instead of light, to get a more sombre mood. I think it went out very well, but I could have done some few things to make it even better, as I already have mentioned.

The storyboard 

In the class, we were asked to make a storyboard in groups. Each person had a corner in the paper. We had to draw people, we found very strange and interesting. People we have seen during the last couple of years. We should also draw some places, where we would like to go and not to go - the best and the worst. When we had drawn the items, we spoke about all the things and persons we have drawn and in order of this, we should be able to make a story out of 6 items/persons. In my group, our storyboard looked like the following picture. Our final story was about a naked man who ended up in space, found some clothes and went back to the club wearing clothes.
